At the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Miami, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department turned to connected safety technology to protect spectators, athletes and staff — deploying eight Blackline Safety EXO area monitors discreetly throughout the host stadium.

Four EXO 8 units (detecting up to eight gases plus gamma radiation) and four G7 EXO monitors transmit live readings over cellular to the Blackline Live platform, giving incident commanders real-time visibility and the data to respond fast if needed. Long battery life means no downtime across the tournament.
