The RSM draws power straight from the G8's battery, so there's nothing extra to charge — simply connect it and it stays active until disconnected, with an audible tone confirming a secure connection. A dedicated Hi-Lo button lets workers boost incoming audio volume on demand, while the G8's on-screen display automatically switches to the RSM icon when paired with PTT-enabled units, so there's no guesswork about what mode the device is in.
