Pyrotector 30-2056B IR Flame Detector

Pyrotector 30-2056B IR flame detectors are compact, unitized packages containing an IR detection cell, solid state electronics, and dry Form C (SPDT) contacts for alarm and fault conditions. The detectors are engineered to respond to the nominal 4.45-micron band of infrared radiation, which is commonly known as the CO2 spike. By concentrating on the narrow band radiation of the spectral range that is highly specific to burning hydrocarbons, combined with the use of optical filters to discriminate against most extraneous background radiation from a variety of sources, it is able to provide a high level of reliable fire detection, while being relatively immune to false alarm signals
