Drexelbrook Water Cut Meter - Density Compensation Module
Drexelbrook Water Cut Meter - Density Compensation Module
Drexelbrook offers a Density Compensation Module (DCM) for its Universal IV™ & V In-Line Water Cut Monitors (CM), which automatically compensates for density changes in product composition, reducing calibration needs.
The Universal IV & V CMs provide high-accuracy water-in-oil measurements, with the DCM maintaining accuracy even with density variations up to 10 API, ensuring reliable measurements across different product compositions. The Universal V uses capacitance-based electrical measurements to detect water cut and corrects for density changes that can impact output.
The Drexelbrook Universal V CM features an in-line probe design that averages the capacitive properties of the fluid, providing a more accurate, real-time analysis. It also offers the industry’s highest pressure (1500 PSI) and temperature (450°F) capabilities, along with Cote-Shield™ technology to prevent probe buildup. A temperature-compensated version is also available for accurate readings across a wide range of temperatures (32°F to 212°F).
Applications include automatic well testing, lease automatic custody transfer, pipeline slug detection, and more.
